Mealtime/Playtime Assistant

Salary : £9.25 per hr

Job Term: Permanent

Hours per week: 5 hours

Weeks per annum: 38 weeks

Interview Date : Tuesday 8th December 2020

Using any previous skills involving working with children you will assist with the supervision and support of pupils throughout the midday lunchtime session, supporting children in the school to create a positive dining experience at lunch time.  You will also be expected to supervise children’s free ‘play’ time in the playground – promoting high standards of behaviour and ensuring that children play safely at all times. Working through the midday period you will need to be committed to working 1 hour a day. You will need to be flexible to some changes in school timetable events throughout the year.

We are looking for an appropriately skilled person (specific training will be given) who is enthusiastic, hard-working, enjoys working with children and are committed to promoting healthy eating.

Shute Community Primary School is a 4 class rural school set in the village of Shute, near Axminster.  We are looking for applications from outstanding class teachers to join our friendly staff team from January 2021.

The post is a job share in our mixed aged EYFS class. This class consists of our pre-school unit and reception pupils. There is a Teaching Assistant assigned to the class to support you.

High expectations and the capacity to enthuse and motivate children of all abilities are essential requirements for this post. You will be a committed, ambitious but reflective practitioner, keen to play an active part in the further development of the school.

We are a good school and  looking for a teacher who thrives on challenge, has good curriculum knowledge and is passionate about securing positive outcomes for every individual.

We are looking to appoint a temporary part time teacher to teach a Year 5&6 class for 3 afternoons per week at Shute Community Primary School. Shute is a 4 class rural school set in the village of Shute, near Axminster.

The successful applicant is required for the start of the Spring Term (January 2021). We are looking for a teacher who thrives on challenge, has good curriculum knowledge and is passionate about securing positive outcomes for every individual. We can offer you a supportive environment within a friendly team.

The post will run for 2 terms, until the end of the summer term 2021 and the reason for the fixed term appointment is to provide cover for a vacancy pending the advertisement and appointment of a permanent member of staff.
